A little attention to detail would make it very nice. For example a provision of a toilet brush, weeding the garden, cleaning inside windows and cills. Having had smokers there, a fresh coat of paint wouldn’t go amiss, we tried by opening door and windows but couldn’t get rid of the smell. Perhaps sensitive smoke alarms would be a deterrent to future visitors. On the whole though, we had a good time, thank you.
Thank you for the feedback and for scoring us so highly. I'm afraid I have an aversion to toilet brushes but I do clean the toilet very thoroughly by hand at every changeover. It is a non-smoking cottage and we hadn't been aware that the previous guests had been smoking inside until I came to do changeover. Apologies that some of the smell appears to have lingered.
I only thought myself when I was doing changeover yesterday that I need to get my decorator in at some time - I'll need to fit this around bookings of course as the smell of paint is not to everyone's taste.
