    “Such a lovely place.”

    The location is great for Penrith, everything is in easy walking distance. I can't think of anything that is missing from this cottage, the kitchen has everything you need of you choose to stay in and cook for the evening. I booked primarily for the fire which was amazing in the evening with a glass of wine and a film. I would happily book again in the future.

    Hi Sarah we are thrilled you had such a lovely stay at the Cottage. We have tried to think of everything so your holiday is as enjoyable as it can be. It’s such a cosy little Cottage and as you say so nice to be sat by the log burner. If you didn’t want to cook there is an abundance of takeaways/ restaurants in the town and all so handy. PENRITH

Keswick 17 miles; Carlisle 20 miles.

The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. Renowned for its wealth of specialist shops, the sandstone buildings of Penrith hide intriguing yards, lanes and alleyways, with a myriad of attractive cottages, gardens and little shops. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films.
