The cottage was an old traditional cottage updated enough to be more than comfortable but without it losing it's character.
The garden is a great, private place to sit. Being in the small village is ideal, with a great local pub and village shop close by.

The cottage was warm and comfortable and in a great location.
It's not far from the motorway and also has easy access to the East side of the Lakes. It's a 5 minute stroll in one direction to the fantastic Mardale Inn and in the other to a lovely riverside walk.
