    “We had an amazing holiday in Loluke Lodge ,stunning location ,perfect place to explore nearby towns and villages .”

    The lodge was spotless, the beds were very comfy with plenty of room to eat and entertain . The extra bathroom was a plus and the patio and decking area was used all of our stay as the weather was fab .we will definitely be returning .

Set around a picturesque lake in 43 acres of beautifully maintained grounds and nestled between the dramatic landscape of the southern Lake District, the rolling Yorkshire Dales and the coastline of Morecambe Bay. South Lakeland Leisure Village is an ideal base to discover some of the UK’s most stunning scenery.On arrival, you'll find off-road parking to unload and settle into the open-plan living space.

Thanks to the superb utilities, you can catch up with your loved ones while preparing a home-cooked supper in this sociable space, which has a centre island in the kitchen area with a breakfast bar for two.

There's plenty of outside seating with lake views; it's a lovely space to unwind and read after a day of adventures!

Morecambe, with its sandy beach, attractive Promenade, and Happy Mount Park, is further south, while Lancaster, with its Lancaster Castle and panoramic views from Williamson Park, has plenty to offer.

CARNFORTH

Capernwray 2.4 miles; Lake District 20 miles

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
