    “The lodge had everything we need.”

    It was clean and tidy when we arrived it was in a lovely quiet spot the only sounds we heard was the sound of the fountain and the ducks (which was lovely and relaxing). The only downfall with the lodge was on the double bed the mattress did not fit the base and me and my husband hurt our ankles a couple of times getting in and out of it BUT that was the only thing we had a problem with everything else was great.

    Thanks for leaving the feedback. We agree about the mattress! I think we will replace it and have looked into it but the bed frame is frustratingly inbetween sizes..... Really glad you enjoyed the rest of your break. Did you see the swan signets? They were born last month. Property Owner

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay.
