“The lodge is in need of upgrading.”

The sofas were worn and stained, carpets were stained and full of dog hair. The furniture was all peeling around the table and chair legs. The fridge door didn’t close properly, we had a dripping tap for four days after reporting to Sykes cottages as soon as we arrived. The bedding was stained, old fashioned crockery, some chipped and dirty baking trays left. The outside patio door didn’t close properly, rusty outdoor furniture. Dirty bathroom floor and around the bin area in the kitchen. No information left in the lodge about fire evacuation. We reported all these issues to Sykes cottages on day of arrival and we still haven’t heard back from them since arriving home.
