    “We had a wonderful stay at the lodge.”

    Very comfortable and well equipped. We loved the position and the beautiful views from the veranda. Things that would have been useful were none stick pans. Breakfast stuck to the pans that were there and took a lot of soaking and scrubbing to get clean! The elderly members of our party had trouble getting in and out of the bath as it’s very high so something to think about. Overall a wonderful stay!

Kick off your walking boots and hang up your coats before entering the light-flooded, open-plan living space, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, separate utility room, dedicated dining area, and plush seating, where you can take in the stunning scenery. The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer.
