“We stayed in the cottage with our two childern for a fortnight and had a wonderful experience.”
It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful basic survival kit (coffee, tea, sugar, butter, bread, butter cokies) provided by the owner at our arrival. The cottage is located on a very quiet farm a few miles east of Shap, away from the main tourist areas, which suited us perfectly. It lies conveniently between the Lake District, the Northern Pennines, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering plenty of opportunities ...

We especially appreciated the thoughtful basic survival kit (coffee, tea, sugar, butter, bread, butter cokies) provided by the owner at our arrival. The cottage is located on a very quiet farm a few miles east of Shap, away from the main tourist areas, which suited us perfectly. It lies conveniently between the Lake District, the Northern Pennines, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside. Parking is available directly in front of the cottage, and there is a small terrace where you can relax and enjoy the afternoons and evenings. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and would highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the Lake District area.
