On your doorstep is Grizedale Forest which has an intriguing network of walking routes, cycle paths and sculpture trails, great for children of all ages.Also located here is Go Ape zip wires for a fun for all the family day out. Nearby is the local commmnity play area walking distance from the house. Lake Windermere lies to the east, and a car-ferry crossing can take you across the lake to explore the lively attractions of Bowness village.
