“I booked this fairly last minute and Dovedale Lodge happened to be one of the remaining available lodges.”

I’m glad though as it was a wonderful place to stay. I came without a car and location wise it’s ideal if thats the case as there are plenty of options to get about easily, and you have decent options for shops close by. There’s a spar about 10 mins at most walking away, and the bus stop about 5 minutes away has fairly frequent buses that get you to most of the main local spots. The lodge itself is in a nice spot on the park, just near to the water’s edge, with a nearby spot with some ...

The hot tub is great after a long day hiking in the lakes. The lodge on the whole is just a nice place to be. Can’t fault anything about it. Will definitely be looking to return to this lodge at some point.
