When the sun goes down, head to the first floor to find two of the house's three magnificent bedrooms, one of which is a king-size with a TV and an en-suite shower room, and the other a double with an en-suite shower room.
Continue upstairs to discover another king-size bed, featuring zip/linked beds, a TV, a handy sink, and an en-suite shower room.
Behind the house is a pleasant yard where you can sit out with a steaming cup of tea in the mornings!
Spend the day exploring the attractions of The World of Beatrix Potter and the Windermere Jetty Museum; or if the outdoors is more your thing, you can venture on walks along Queen Adelaide's Hill and Orrest Head Viewpoint, both of which showcase the best of Windermere's vistas.
Why not spend the day on Lake Windermere, where Miller Ground and Hodge Howe provide wonderful watersports options, and a ferry from Bowness-on-Windermere allows you to cruise over the water to the attractions of Far Sawrey.
Visit Ambleside, a town steeped in history, which you can discover at the Ambleside Roman Fort, before exploring the beautiful Stagshaw Gardens or trekking to Stock Ghyll Force or Wansfell Pike.
