    “Excellent lodge very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed.”

    Lovely quality bedding and towels and extremely comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend this lodge for that perfect stay in the Lakes. This is one of the nicest lodges we have stayed in at Limefitt. We. Will definitely be booking again maybe for two weeks the next time.

A beautiful wooden lodge resting in Limefitt Holiday Park, near Troutbeck Bridge, with ample amenities and off-road parking, JacMar Lodge is a delightful abode for a family or group of friends looking for a countryside getaway to Cumbria and the lake district. Park off-road beside the property and make your way into this delightful space, discovering a light and airy open-plan living space. Here you will find many kitchen amenities tucked away into delightful sage furniture, so guests can cook a heart-warming meal together. Dine at the tasteful dining table, beside large windows and with views across the park. As the evening wears on, curl up in the stylish sitting area and enjoy a movie marathon from the Smart TV as the electric fire stove warms your feet. This lodge houses three well-presented bedrooms with storage, allowing guests to choose between a double with an ensuite bathroom and two singles, as well as a contemporary bathroom where guests can choose between a warm shower or a soak in the tub. Outside, make the most of the countryside air on the decking, an ideal spot for relaxing in an evening with a tipple in hand, or morning coffee before setting out to explore the local area. This lovely property is situated on Limefitt Holiday Park, where guests can make the most of the bar and restaurant on site. For more amenities, head over to Troutbeck Bridge, where there is a local shop and pub. From here, enjoy walks beside the beautiful Lake Windermere, or head over to Bowness-on-Windermere for a greater variety of tasty eateries, pubs, independent stores selling local produce and watersports opportunities, as well as a local golf course. The small village of Troutbeck Bridge lies between the famous towns of Windermere and Ambleside, close to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, within the Lake District National Park. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
