The property

Only a short stroll away from Windermere town centre, which has a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants, and bars, is this Victorian mid-terrace property. Snowflake Cottage offers a lovely place to call home and is exquisitely arranged on three floors, ideal for up to six guests. Enter the house and settle in the lounge, which is furnished with Victorian details, a bay window, three sofas, and a Smart TV, creating a welcoming atmosphere for relaxing. The dining room is perfect for indulging in hearty meals prepared in the fitted, shaker-style kitchen, which is equipped with an electric double oven, a gas stove, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, and even a washing machine and tumble dryer so you can quickly throw your clothes on a spin. The king-size and double rooms on the first floor are both tastefully decorated and have access to a dazzling bathroom with a bath and a walk-in rainfall shower. The twin room, which has Velux windows, lots of storage, and an en-suite bathroom, is up a further flight of stairs. When you're ready to explore, there are a variety of eateries on your doorstep, along with convenience stores where you can pick up any necessities. Consider taking a boat out on the lake to get a different perspective of the scenery or test your skills on a paddleboard or kayak. Local attractions include the Aquarium of the Lakes, the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, and Go Ape, but if you'd rather engage in more leisurely pursuits, the lakes and beautiful fells provide countless chances for hiking and biking trails. The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip.
