As you enter the property, uncover a generously-equipped kitchen with all the essential appliances needed to make your self-catered stay a success.  Enjoy a romantic meal at the quaint dining table for two on the first floor and toast to an amazing trip over a bottle of fizz.  Nearby, there is a sizable sitting area with a Smart TV and plush leather sofa that is ideal for curling up on after a long day of exploration.

A comfortable double bed and a modern shower room complete the first-floor studio layout, making it the perfect spot to unwind before going to bed or to start your morning before exploring the area.

From the property's doorstep, choose from a wide range of bars, pubs, cafes, and restaurants that serve hearty cuisine, exquisite wines, and ales.

On nights when you don't feel like cooking, treat your significant other at one of these venues.

The Windermere Golf Club is about 1 mile away.  The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is nearby and offers a variety of contemporary exhibits devoted to the famed children's author.  If you want to view the former writer's home, travel to Ambleside where the National Trust maintains the 17th century cottage, Hill Top.  Spend the day at Lake Windermere for a variety of watersports like paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing, or for a more leisurely day, sail across the lake to Ambleside where, in the summer, you can ride a horse-drawn carriage from the centre to Waterhead Pier.

Explore Rydal Cave, scramble up Scafell Pike, or learn more about aquatic life at Lakes Aquarium.

The well-known villages of Ulverston and Kendal, which are home to the Stott Bobbin Mill and Kendal Golf Club, are also close by.

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
