Being right in the heart of Windermere, this newly renovated apartment is

ideally situated with shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes and supermarkets

all on your doorstep. Windermere, England’s largest lake is minutes away by

bus, or a pleasant downhill walk. so ideally placed for a break in the Lake

District, whether you enjoy the great outdoors, shopping, culture or just want

a relaxing break in lovely surroundings .

The corner aspect open plan lounge -kitchen is light and airy and overlooks

the village, the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher and

microwave with a bistro table to enjoy your meal on, before settling down to

watch a film on the 43” smart TV in the cosy lounge area.

Plenty of storage in the lounge with two large cupboards, the bedroom has a

double bed, and bedside usb charging points, and drawers and a rail.

Supermarkets, restaurants and shops minutes away .

Lots of leisure amenities, whatever you enjoy from walks, sailing , theatre

and the World Heritage National Park to explore .

Windermere Central is situated in the centre of the

village with all that the villages offers on your doorstep.

Unfortunately due to the stairs not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

On street parking and car parks nearby.

Windermere Railway Station is just 5 minutes walk away, and bus stops are

close by within 2-3 minutes walk

This is in a perfect central location & we managed to park up a couple of streets away for the whole time we were there.

Everything on your doorstep & bus station a short walk away. A bit noisy from the cafe downstairs but would stay again. Thankyou

I found the bed very comfortable and the shower room excellent.

The oven/hob and TV are ultra modern, so if you are hi-tech, you will no doubt love using them. I am not, so it was either eat out or the microwave. The "bistro table" is a small high table, so you have to clamber on to a high chair in order to eat a meal. The TV requires a wi-fi connection. The router is hidden behind the TV. I used my laptop, rather than spend time trying to understand the TV. There is an attic above the flat, which seems to be used as a storage room (perhaps by Mo's Cafe next door). If you are inside during daytime. you will hear the thud of heavy objects being dropped.

We are sorry that the induction hob and oven proved difficult to use during your stay. Had we been made aware, we would have been more than happy to help guide you through their operation, either by phone or in person. Instructions for the appliances are also provided within the guest information folder. The Smart TV is connected to the property's WiFi and provides access to a wide range of channels and streaming services without guests needing to access the router. However, we appreciate that modern technology is not always intuitive and understand that some guests may prefer to use their own devices. We are also sorry that the bistro-style dining table was not to your liking. In addition to the dining area, trays and occasional tables are available within the apartment to provide alternative options for dining and relaxing. We were a little puzzled by the reference to an attic being used for storage. There is no attic above the lounge and kitchen area, and the small attic space above the bedroom is not used for storage purposes. The noise you experienced may have originated from neighbouring premises, such as the café or nearby shops. As the apartment is located in the heart of the village, some daytime noise from surrounding businesses is occasionally unavoidable. Thank you again for your comments.
