Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and so cosy.

The sofa area is this perfect place where you just want to snuggle up and let the world go by. There are so many nice touches thoughout and the attention to detail is incredible, giving it a real feel of luxury. Highly recommended!

The owners of this cottage were helpful and prompt in efficiently sorting a minor maintenance issue during my visit.

Their cottage is well appointed and comfortable for a couple or up to 3 people and is dog friendly.

Very cosy cottage.

Well looked after with plenty of scenic views around. Loads of heating with a control to keep you warm during the winter months with a kitchen thats very easy to use with good utensils provided. Even popped round make sure everything was all good for us an provided some more firewood for the logfire. Provided everything that was needed for your fur baby such as bowls poo bags and even a blanket for them. Definitely would recommend and visit again 10/10

Perfect cottage to hide away from the fireworks on bonfire night!

The main thing that attracted us to Luham Cottage was it's location but the cottage itself was so perfect and immaculate. Far enough away from Penrith that we didn't hear any fireworks, but close enough that a short drive will get you to shops. Barbara stopped by to introduce herself and welcome us and was so friendly. The cottage is so clean and tidy and well maintained and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The welcome package of bread, eggs, butter and milk was so lovely. Our dog loved watching the birds from the living room window. We would absolutely book to stay here again.

Luham cottage was immaculate, it had everything we could have needed and was in a quiet location with a beautiful view.

An excellent place to stay.

It is well equipped and spacious. Everything required was available to us. It is in a great, quiet location, but within easy driving distance from some fantastic walks. The welcome pack was a great touch. We highly recommend Luham Cottage.

Lovely well equipped, comfortable and spacious accommodation.

Views of surrounding mountains and countryside, very quiet. We had a query prior to our stay which was very satisfactorily answered by the host. The host also checked on us during our stay. Very enjoyable stay.

Everything was done to a very high standard, was so spacious and comfortable. We loved the views and how peaceful and quiet it was. It was in a great location. The owners Dan and Barbara were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The welcome gift was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Superb, roomy barn conversion for 2 + dog, with everything supplied of high quality in a lovely quiet spot between Penrith and Langwathby.

Your friendly hosts, Barbara and Daniel are next door should you ever have any queries and have done an excellent job in providing a luxurious comfortable holiday base. We would love to return!

Luham Cottage is a lovely place to stay.

Barbara and Dan were very helpful and friendly owners, lovely welcome pack on arrival. The cottage is superb from stepping into the large kitchen , and upstairs to the lounge area and bathroom and bedroom area. It’s very tastefully furnished and a has a very luxurious bathroom with under floor heating in bathroom and kitchen. Very peaceful place to stay and great for access into Penrith and Keswick and the lakes. We loved our stay and have booked for next year already. Thank you Barbara and Dan, for a lovely welcome and fab stay.

What a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday, the entire accommodation is of a very high standard and so warm and cozy.

The Christmas tree and decoration was a lovely surprise. We are already planning or next stay. Dan was on hand to help with the tv and is such a lovely person. Thanks again for my fizz and mince pies. Merry Christmas to you both.

What a wonderful cottage!

Everything that you could wish for is supplied, including a welcome gift of uncut bread, butter, mince pies and milk. Having a hot and cold tap outside is so useful for washing muddy paws and boots. Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Barbara but Dan was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The cottage is lovely and modern inside.

It feels very spacious and has lots of modern conviniences to use. It is beautifully situated in the countryside but easy enough to get about. It is ideally located to the Lake District for walks and Penrith has everything you need to make a self catering holiday easy. We would definitely recommend it.

My partner and I had such a lovely time staying at the cottage, we were greeted by Barbara and Dan when we arrived who are great as everyone else as mentioned.

Barbara gave us a quick guide to get the best out of the place and was available for anything else we needed. The cottage itself felt spacious while remining cosy and had everything we needed, including the wonderful welcome pack of food to allow us to feel at home the moment we were there. The area is so peaceful but still very accessible via an A road followed by a B road. We decided we were coming back within a day of being there, highly recommended. Paul.

Place was immaculate definitely worth the long drive up.

Very clean and cosy, facilities are very modern and give the cottage a nice feel. Lots of things to do even if you decide to have a few days in, lots of games and entertainment on the TV provided. We had the best time and we will definitely be coming back we’ve even talked about making it a yearly thing

An exceptional luxury cottage.

Has everything you need and been well thought out for comfort. Loved the kitchen. The small lights in hall from bedroom to bathroom amazing. This cottage certainly has the wow factor. Barbara and Dan are a lovely couple and the welcome pack just lovely. A great wee touch. Our dog Coco loved it too. Loved it all.

We were extremely content with our stay at Luham cottage, where quietly lies in the farm area and has a 5–star quality.

Owners very friendly and helpful cottage in a good quiet location but easy to get to all local attractions. Garden enclosed very good for dogs our dog loved it . Owners gave extras on arrival more than we expected. we plus dog would love to come again.

This property had everything we needed for a lovely, relaxing stay.

We arrived to fresh bread, eggs, milk and shortbread. There was even treats and essentials for our dog! The cottage itself was beautifully presented and felt like a home from home. We loved the views and simply just being in the quiet. The location was also perfect for all the places we wanted to visit, everywhere was a short drive away. Overall, we loved our stay and we’re very sad to be coming home, we will definitely be back

Had the most amazing stay.

Omg what can I say it has to be one of my top if not the top place I've stayed. Barbra and Dan are lovely so friendly. One thing I wud not recommend.and is the shepards Inn pub not friendly at all but would definitely recommend Edenhall pub so friendly. I can not wait to go and stay again but I'm going tor longer than a week next time it's that beautiful, it felt like home. See you soon xx
