Great stay.

Roger and Val were really friendly and accommodating and the kitchen was one of the best equipped I've seen in a holiday cottage. Would highly recommend.

Friendly owners, lovely little cottage.

Lovely surroundings with plenty to do eg walking, near keswick where friends were paddle boarding, nearer Penrith than Keswick with things to do there. Cinema at Rhehed which is ~ 8 minutes away by car. Dog friendly though dogs are meant to stay downstairs. Welcome pack inc schloer, milk and biscuits. And they will accept food deliveries for people staying though you need to discuss when it can arrive as owners might be out. This is a handy piece of info I'm noting for my next stay!

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location for exploring the North Lakes.

Everything was spotless, the communication was reassuringly early and the hosts were welcoming and very supportive with ev charging. Excellent facilities, great location and fabulous hosts. A great base to enjoy the beauty of the lake district.

Biscuits , cold drink tea bags and coffee, all available on arrival. Lovely setting and convenient location. Lots of information available and the cottage was clean and well presented and would gladly use it again.

This is one of the best cottageswe have stayed in.

The location is great and the area is great with lots to see and visit.The owner was very helpful but not intrusive nothing was to much trouble. We will defonatly be back.

Very clean and tidy and there was everything there you could want for a comfortable stay. Really nice touch with the dog biscuits lovely biscuits for us too. Also tea coffee milk and wine . Very well appointed to get around and visit other places.

Wydon Farm is a beautiful and peaceful place, and the cottage was incredibly tidy, comfortable and had everything I needed to feel at home and relaxed. Fantastic location and such friendly owners. Thank you so much for having me!

This is superb accommodation.

It is well looked after and comfortable in a lovely setting. It is well situated to tour round the northern Lakes with easy access to the A66. The owners are very friendly and approachable. Highly recommend this accommodation.

This cottage was just what we were looking for!

It was clean, comfortable & everything we needed was provided. The location was ideal. The owners Val & Roger were lovely and introduced themselves to us at the beginning of our holiday. We will definitely be back!

Lovely little cottage for our week away.

Everything we needed. Owners are lovely and gave us many recommendations for walks and good food too! Having access to the paddock was great- our dog Marley loved being able to play ball and have a potter round. Would highly recommend!

Lavender Cottage is perfect and we would definitely return.

The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were very welcoming. The cottage is in a perfect location and it was easy to access many of the popular parts of the Lakes. The paddock was a real bonus for walking the dog.

Some of the little touches that made it special included leaving some milk, teabags and shower gel in the house. I've been to many other cottages where the owners don't put any basics in there, so this was a nice surprise.

This is an absolutely fantastic little cottage.

The owners were very welcoming and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean and everything was well looked after and comfortable. The little touches were brilliant- kitchen roll, toilet paper, tissues, hand soap etc. All things which are forgotten when packing but definitely required- and would normally require a trip to the shops. We will definitely be staying here again.

Really friendly owners, lovely cottage and great communication throughout. The cottage is perfect for four; it had everything we needed and is extremely well placed to visit the lakes and Westmorland. Would thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful cottage, in a very handy location with lovely gardens, would definitely use again if we go back to the north lakes.

The cottages surroundings were lovely and lots of outdoor areas to enjoy.

Upstairs was good, but we felt that downstairs could do with a bit of an update. The new owners have only been there for a couple of months so perhaps they have plans.
