Great property & location.

Generally clean but windows were filthy- suggest a window cleaner. A few minor issues - the main bathroom handle next to twin bedroom was loose. The dishwasher door has a problem/ seems broken. Also the shower next to the twin bedroom leaks next to the toilet every time it’s use.

We found the property to be exactly as described and perfect for our party of eight people.

It was in excellent condition, the bedrooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped with a very good standard of crockery. The location so close to the water and other facilities was second to none. We would all happily return here. The reason that I did not give full marks for comfort was the two sofas in the sitting room are not really comfortable as they have not got any back support and no matter how you sit on them you end up slouching backwards. This opinion was shared by our whole party. Indeed when I was searching for a property to rent I ignored Waterhead Cottage for a long time because I was put off by the picture of the sitting room with those two sofas as I could tell that they would not be comfortable. Fortunately I was swayed by the reviews of other renters otherwise we'd have missed a great property.
