The accommodation was generally clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there.

It is in a good location for nearby walks such as Catbells and Buttermere. However, it's isolation and the very narrow roads to get to it made travelling around stressful. In addition, the lack of WiFi or even a decent phone signal added to the feeling of isolation. So it's a good property if it's location suits your needs.

Absolutely beautiful location well out in the sticks of the very scenic Newlands Valley.

There's a very tight little twisty country road around the hills and dales that takes you from Keswick to the property but watch out for the Pheasants as there are loads of them hovering around a particular farm.Lots of young ones too.The veiws from the windows are stunning while you munch on your breakfast. One thing I will say is there doesnt seem to be any instructions on how to use anything, so youve got to figure them out for yourself.Final word, What a place !

Had a perfect stay once we found the cottage.

All directions take you to a completely different area which was frustrating. I'd recommend heading to Birkrigg cottages then it’s just a little further up the road.
