This was our 2nd stay here.

Absolutely lovely home. Nice and quiet even though it’s located in the town. Great outside terrace to sit too. Spacious and very comfortable living room. Comfy beds too. The host Vicky is helpful and friendly. Lovely treats in the fridge thank you

Nice welcome package, a little noise from the shop below, some steps up to the door, well equipped.

From the photographs, it looks like the accommodation is on the ground floor.

The stairway up to the accommodation is steep and narrow.

Lovely central location, nice little apartment, great fir exploring the lakes.

Perfect location in the town but not noisy Very comfortable/ well equipped. Top class bed linen / towels etc. nicely decorated for Christmas. Thank you for the Christmas goodies. We will be back soon

The property was very nice, comfortable.

Really unsuitable for elderly or not so fit as outside steps very steep. The top step needs repair. Apart from that it was great. Handy for town.

This is the third time we have stayed here.

It is always beautifully presented and as far as we are concerned provides everything we want for a short break, comfort, convenience and everything to hand. It is the first time we have stayed with the Indian restaurant below but it was no problem, no smells or noise.

Such a wonderful property in a fantastic location in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale town.

The host was great and the little touches for my arrival made the stay even more pleasurable.

Superb property in an excellent location.

Although it was centrally located there was no street noise or smells from nearby restaurants. Extremely well situated for touring the locale. Very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Exceptionally good quality linens and towels. Both the bed and sofas were very comfortable & looking forward to our next visit.

A wonderful place to stay: in excellent condition, very comfortable.

The location is great, right in the centre of town (and note: it was not noisy, nor did the Indian restaurant downstairs represent any inconvenience). All-in-all a wonderful stay, and we would be happy to return.

We really enjoyed this beautiful apartment.

But there are a few things which would mean us not returning. Or booking in the first place, if we had known in advance. The only roadside parking is for 1 hour.This forces you to pay for parking in nearby car parks. Which we would not usually do. A parking permit ,often supplied by the owner, was not available. There is also a market on Thursdays.This means no parking, from 6am , anywhere outside the apartment. Unfortunately this was our leaving day, which meant the car had to be packed the night before, which was most inconvenient This again was not mentioned by Sykes. Although the steep stairs outside are mentioned, with suitcases they are very dangerous. Staircase inside not a problem. The house has very good double glazing to the front of the house, along with thick curtains which block out most of the outside noise. Beds are extremely comfortable and the outside space was wonderful.

Great value for money. Well equipped and nice bedlinen. Welcome pack had something for everyone! Excellent location in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale but very quiet and peaceful inside. The terrace was a real bonus and we enjoyed sitting out in some great spring sunshine

We have stayed here once before and we were very impressed so we had no doubts about rebooking for a further visit to Kirkby Lonsdale.

We provided a positive review last time and can only confirm what we said then. This is a delightful and convenient place to stay for a few days. It is comfortable and everything is in place for a highly satisfactory experience. The owner is easily contactable in the case of any queries which is an added bonus.

Amazing property, spotlessly clean with lots of little extras that made the stay extra special.

We stayed as a couple along with my parents, the property was spacious, with everything you could possibly need with lots of local shops, eateries and pubs on the doorstep, it’s the perfect location. The stairs up to the property are a little steep and would benefit from a handrail at the top, but not too much of an issue. The weather was quite cold during our stay and the front bedroom was a little drafty around the window which is to be expected in a property of the age, but the bedding was lovely, warm and very comfortable, as was the lovely fire in the living room. I would highly recommend this property, we are already planning to come back in the summer to make use of the beautiful courtyard/ garden area. The hosts were really helpful, sending through details for parking and check in. Thank you for a lovely stay - 10/10!

We stayed at Market square Masionette in early December and we loved it.

The place is clean, comfortable and homely with a good supply of essentials. The owners had put a Christmas tree up which made our Christmas trip even better. We did struggle to find it but for anyone staying, it's down the gated alley next to the sweet shop. It's a perfect location, perfect apartment and we would definitely stay again.

We love Kirkby Lonsdale and we loved this spotlessly clean property.

Decorated and equipped to a high standard, it really felt like home for the weekend. A lovely Christmas tree and welcome gifts on arrival added to how special this gorgeous cottage is. Contact with the owner, Vicki, was exceptional; thank you for sharing your property with us.

We loved our stay in the Market Place Maisonette.

It's in a perfect location and furnished to perfection A real home from home. When we arrived the fridge had some lovely touches inside to welcome us.There was complimentary milk, tea, coffee and sugar. The place is spotless too. Couldn't fault it. The owner even messaged to see if we had any special requirements as a family and gave us all the info we needed regarding parking etc. Thanks Vicki for everything, we will hopefully be returning soon.

what can we say about our beautiful, fabulous, gorgeous Market Square residence in Kirby Lonsdale.

Beautiful inside and out. So handy it is on the doorstep to walk to Devils bridge, pop out to the lovely shops and eateries around Kirby Lonsdale. This property is home from home. Absolutely adorable. Furnished beautifully. Everything you can think of is to hand. Perfect holiday property. Didn't want to come home. We will definitely be back Vicki. Also Vicki left us complimentary refreshments in the fridge and there is tea and coffee in jars. Outdoor cushions if you wish to sit outside. Market day on Thursday. A lovely welcome surprise to 7A Market Square was a fabulous bottle of prosecco and some Lindt chocolates. We felt totally spoiled and we can't wait to come back. Topclass and highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Beautiful property you must be very proud of Vicki. Thank you for a lovely holiday in the beautiful market town of Kirby Lonsdale. This is a delightful place.

Centrally situated in the town but no noise problem while we were there. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We have relatives in the area and next time we travel to see them we will certainly check out availability so that we might rebook. We parked down the footpath near Devils Bridge which is only a short walk so found this convenient. Can’t think of anything to moan about even if we tried! The wine and other items were appreciated.

It’s a home from home. Beautifully decorated with everything you need. We had lovely weather so we were able to make use of the terrace. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack too

Fabulous property in a lovely setting in the Market Square.

This Maisonette was so cosy and comfortable and the furnishings and decor are of an extremely high standard. We have had a lovely stay and huge thanks to Vicki for the complimentary refreshments and helpful instructions. Kirkby Lonsdale an added bonus as it's such a charming little town.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage, it is in a perfect location with the shops and restaurants a stones throw away.

The cottage itself is very homely and has everything you could need, the beer and Prosecco left by Vicki was a thoughtful bonus!! We will definitely be staying here again.

I went for one week and stayed for five!

The owner is lovely and responsive to queries/questions. Linen and towels were changed weekly and were both good quality. The cottage is spotlessly clean and decor is tasteful and contemporary. Kitchen is really well equipped for cooking with everything you could need. Nice touches were wine and beer and greatly appreciated, also juice, milk and chocolates in fridge on arrival. Sitting room is very comfortable as are beds/bedrooms. In short Kirkby is beautiful. Walking is easy and scenery simply stunning. The outside space with comfortable and spacious seating, just perfect to watch the sun go down with a G&T! If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Kirkby- look no further.

We had the most wonderful stay!

The cottage was beautifully clean and cosy and had everything we could need. The beds were super comfortable and our children loved looking out of the windows every morning at the village market square. Heavenly stay- thank you so much.

The apartment is beautifully furnished & very well equipped. Thankyou for the extras left as a welcome by the owner. The bed was very comfy & it’s lovely & peaceful. Shops, restaurants and pubs only a couple of minutes walk away. Would recommend and hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Had a lovely 5 nights in the Market Square Maisonette, Kirkby Lonsdale.

The property is ideally located in the market square and the cleanliness & standard of furnishings was superb. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. There are some quite steep steps to access the property though, so bear this in mind if you have mobility issues. Perfect! Thanks, Roseann

Splendid maisonette, great location and fantastic food nearby.

We loved it. Loads of local walks possible from the door and loads of bigger adventures only a few miles away. Perfectly quiet, yet close to the action. Beautifully furnished and very comfy.

Lovely cottage based in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale.

The location is perfect - everything is on your doorstep and the cottage is really nice. There is a private outdoor seating area which isn't overlooked and is a bit of a sun trap, even at the end of March. We've stayed at a lot of cottages and I'd definitely recommend!
