The Landings

We had a fantastic stay at The Landings as a family of 4.

The apartment was lovely, well equipped with everything you would need. Location was excellent, everything on your doorstep. Great walks to do locally.

My husband and I had a lovely stay of 4 nights here with our 2 kids 13 & 11.

I was concerned about the smaller bed before we arrived but my son (5ft) fit in perfectly. The flat was right in the centre of town and parking is about a 2 minute walk. We bought the 3 day parking pass which was easy to do. Just bear in mind when you buy it because it starts from when you and you don't have to pay between certain times over night. The flat was really cute and cosy and immaculately clean. Had everything we needed! Communication from the owner was brilliant too. We would definitely go back!!!!

Lovely cottage right in the middle of the town.

Clean. Tidy. Everything you could need, including an ice cream scoop (much to my daughters delight!). Would definitely recommend.

Right in the middle of the village. Good for The Lakes or The Dales. Attentive owner. As it says in the information not good for mobility impaired but OK for a creaky 71 year old! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Every detail well thought through. Struggled to find it on arrival day and called mobile number - left voicemail. No one got back to us. Noisy during the day from shops/cafes below. Avanti wine bar lovely place friendly staff. Good food . Some shop keepers unfriendly . Lady in chocolat shop treated us like something the cat had dragged in ! Surely holiday makers like us with money to spend are keeping shops like that going ?! Very nice accommodation though.

Great location, with ease of access to so many beautiful walks, as well as the coast. The apartment itself was spotless, well equipped and so comfortable. The attention to detail was faultless and the owners were incredibly responsive when we had a question. Would happily return.

A lovely property right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale.

Very clean and well equipped and really comfortable. We had a lovely time despite the bad weather, it's a great base for both the Dale's and the Lakes. Highly recommend.

The property is ideally situated in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale with its wide range of pubs and restaurants.

Also easy access to lovely walks in the Yorkshire dales. The property was spotlessly clean and Emma had thoughtfully provided fresh milk and tasty cakes!

The cottage was absolutely perfect .

The decor , cleanliness , furnishings and even little extras. I had brought an Iron and Hairdryer with me..... unnecessary, I had put it laundry capsules cloths , rubbish bags etc.... unnecessary. Emma had thought of everything. Also to have access to smart TV when the weather was rotten made such a difference. I cannot fault the property in any way whatsoever....... well maybe I can .....it's not for sale !!! Xxx

The accommodation was the perfect base to explore the Lakes from and a really comfortable, lovely place to stay. Would definitely come here again!

Owner sent useful information about the location of the property and thoughtfully left milk and biscuits. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely week and would come back again.

Stayed for a week at the landings, really comfy and cosy with everything we needed.

The town was a great base for exploring the southern lakes and fells with easy access to other places as only 8 miles from the m6. The town had a lovely variety of shops, pubs and places to eat with a fab bakery. Would definitely stay again

We had an issue with directions for the property, which were able to discuss with the owner when she was kind enough to drop by to make sure we were okay, but I believe that has been addressed now.

The property supposedly hosts 3-4 people.

There is one small double bed and two tiny single beds, which are clearly for small children. The beds were definitely not long enough, hence, accuracy of description and comfort were poor.

Such a beautiful home in a lovely little town.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating, helping us to source a DVD player when requested. The house was very clean and comfortable, close to good amenities and had everything we needed. The hosts shared great information about local parking, which was close to the property and always had spaces available- the 7 day pass we purchased was also able to be used around the whole south Lake District. Enjoyed going to the Thursday market in the town sq and making friends with the owner of Tata's Cafe (and her adorable dog), which is located just beside the property. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Cosy, comfortable and great location in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale.

Nice bedroom, good bed, excellent bathroom and well equipped kitchen ( despite covid restrictions ), found the TV a weeny bit confusing, but loads of instructions.

The Landings is a lovely, cosy and comfortable place to stay - very well furnished and equipped - tucked away but central for all that Kirkby Lonsdale has to offer.

Perfect location, quiet but in the centre of the village.

The flat was lovely although a little difficult to find so I would say better instructions on where it is, also it says you can park on Market Place but you can't buy 3 to 7 day passes there best to advise people to park in new road 1 or 2 carparks

Perfect in every way.

Right in the centre of town with everything on the doorstep. Lovely and cosy to come back to, particularly with the log burner. Nipping clean and well thought out. We would love to stay again.
