“We've stayed in AirBnB's quite a few times and they ALWAYS provide toilet paper, shampoo, hand soap and body wash at a minimum.”

Almost all also give tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, the basic stuff you don't carry around with you when you fly overseas and would really help to have when you check in at the place you're staying at. There was NO toilet paper in either bathroom, not enough towels for 5ppl for 2 nights, no tea, sugar, coffee, shampoo, body wash. We had to go out and purchase ourselves. They had so many rules posted every where about what to do , clean up, do this, don't do that and that would be fine if ...

They had so many rules posted every where about what to do , clean up, do this, don't do that and that would be fine if they would have provided us with basics. It grated a little because they didn't. Location was great, but I would not stay here again.

Thank you for your kind comments following your 2-night stay in Fairhaven. I have spoken to our Housekeeper and she confirms that plenty of toilet paper and soap was present. Also, as usual a bath towel and hand towel for each of 6 guests for 7 nights. There is also salt and pepper which we are not asked to provide. We do not provide shower gel or shampoo as this has never been required by Lakelovers. We leave instructions on what to do with the wheelie bins, fire advice and only a couple of other helpful notes. A note asking you to "clean up"? - I don't think so. Perhaps you were writing about the wrong property? Maybe you would have liked a full time porter and cook to help you with your stay? It is unfortunate that other prospective guests will read your comments as more than 50% of guests give us 100% reviews with only one or two a year less than 80%. I hope we did not fall below our normal standards as appreciated by virtually all our guests but apologise if we did. Property Owner
