Very comfortable, huge yet cosy, well equipped house.

Fabulous view from the house - some comfortable garden furniture would be welcome to sit out and enjoy it. Excellent base for exploring the whole Lake District. Great WiFi and decent showers, even when three of us were showering at the same time. Only one loo roll in the whole place when we arrived - had to dash out and buy more! Main bathroom shower drain needs unblocking and en-suite shower cubicle also needs some attention - the sealant is heavily stained with black mould. These issues did not spoil our holiday. Great fish and chips from the Ullswater Chippy up the road and pizzas from Hellfire Pizza in Pooley Bridge. Recycling facilities available in Pooley Bridge but not for plastics so we brought these home. Rubbish bin is by the end of the drive.

Absolutely fabulous, everything we needed for a multi generation family holiday home.

Beautiful setting, large garden for the dog and ideal base to explore the Lake District. We even ventured up to Hadrians wall. Would recommend to anyone. The only negative we had was we couldn’t find a general waste dustbin anywhere on the property, so had to store our rubbish in the outhouse, as we had a dog. Felt terrible leaving it by the house wall the morning we left, left a note to apologise, but didn’t have a choice. The place was so well equipped, I couldn’t fathom why there was no dustbin. It certainly didn’t spoil our time there, but maybe something that needs to be addressed.

Lovely Cottage, plenty of space, fantastic garden- the children didn't want to come back inside, gorgeous views.

So much to do very close by. There was 7 of us in total, we all had a lovely weekend and didn't want to return home. The only suggestion I'd make is maybe one or 2 more frying pans and a spare bin liner :)
