What guests are saying
Pros-Good location very close to Bowness town centre and amenities.
Two parking spaces, rare for the lake district. Cons-Adequate property needs a little TLC. Plastic ducting hanging over bath. Upstairs shower door broken. Fridge bottom door shelf broken. No toiletries, spare loo rolls, washing up liquid, normally would expect these in a holiday rental. Would be helpful for more information about property and local facilities rather than a collection of out of date leaflets.
Nice property good position, upstairs fridge needs changing dose not get very cold.
Holiday was spoiled by builders in next door every day making noise waking us up early mixing cement and sawing tiles.
The Heights is a Fantastic property in a perfect location for visiting all the beautiful place’s that the Lake District has to offer.
It’s located within walking distance of Bowness on Windermere town centre where you’ll find plenty of shops, café’s, pubs and restaurants. You’ll also find the open top bus and boats doing day trips on Lake Windermere. The property had everything you could possible need, the beds were really comfy and with 2 car parking spaces it was perfect. We did have a problem with the water draining away in the shower & sink on the 1st floor. It was not too much of a problem, but the water did come over the shower tray a couple of times when having a shower making the floor a little wet as the water couldn’t drain away quick enough. We would highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate coming back again in the future. Thank you.
