Ashness House has been lovingly renovated to a high standard.

This Victorian townhouse is situated five minutes' walk from the hustle and bustle of Keswick town centre.

A contemporary house with all the comforts of home.

The owners have taken time to work out what will make your holiday a comfortable stay.

Take a cruise on Derwentwater, visit the local theatre by the lake, or choose from the many walks and rambles available from the front door.

This all year-round location gives you the ideal holiday cottage for all seasons. Accommodation: Entrance into hallway where there are plenty of hooks for coats and space for boots.

The hallway leads to the kitchen/diner also with comfortable seating for 2/3 people, TV, sky Q and variety package, Wi-Fi, DVD player.

This very well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining table will suit all your entertaining needs.

Also on the ground floor a W.C and basin.

Downstairs is wooden flooring, with carpet throughout the rest of the property.

The first floor is home to the lovely lounge, with TV, Wi-fi, Sky Q, comfy seating for 5/6 people, a master king en-suite (shower, wc and basin).

The second floor has another king, also a cosy twin bedroom and a family bathroom (Shower over bath, wc and basin).

The third floor has steep stairs leading to a further twin with views over Keswick. Furnishings, colour schemes and fabrics throughout are of a high quality, with neutral colours giving a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

There is gas central heating. Outside: Parking is unlimited with on street parking directly outside the property on Church Street and on surrounding streets such as Eskin Street, Helvellyn Street and Blencathra Street.

KESWICK

Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
