Excellent location, clean and tidy, all you could ask for.

Would be nice to have a little longer in the venue on the day of departure, 10am a little rushed after a night on the town

What a lovely,welcoming, spacious, comfortable and clean apartment.

Had everything you need. Nice modern but cosy decor with comfy couches and beds. Loved having tvs in both bedrooms. Good Central Heating. Kitchen adequate for holidays. Bathroom maybe needs updating but perfectly functional with bath and decent shower. Just not a fan of shower curtains. Parking space small, but workable and an great asset. We fitted our Discovery into it! Entrance to building dark outside so a sensory light would be helpful. Thank you for providing such nice accomodation and would definitely book again. Although it sleeps 4 there was only 2 of us.

It was very comfortable with lots of space in the bedrooms and we found the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is small but it does the job. There is a parking space which is tight but adequate. It is well situated being right in the centre of Keswick. We enjoyed it so much have booked our next holiday in Siskin straight away.

Quiet, warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of love and attention has been given to making sure that the property feels like home. The parking space is a great addition. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely accommodation, really convenient location being right in town.

The apartment was clean, comfy, cost and spacious. The pillows could do with updating as they are quite thin, but no other complaints. Perfect accommodation in Keswick

The apartment was brilliant but the entrance to it was very disappointing .

The passageway was very dinghy, and the steel gate was very daunting. Not to mention the rubbish bins that lined the entrance to the passageway.

We have been coming to stay at Siskin for a few years now, and whilst we are delighted with it and plan to come again next year, there are a few minor details that we think need attention.

The toilet cistern makes a very loud shuddering noise while it refills. It must be audible in other flats in the building. The glassware is insufficient. The lock on the car parking space seems to have seized up, so it can’t be actuated. It seems to me that a squirt of WD40 will probably cure it. There we are - we will be back.

Entrance could do with a clean up especially as someone had vomited by the steps.

A motion sensitive light would be helpful at the entrance. The apartment itself was spotless and very well located.

We had a great stay at Siskin.

The property was very central but it wasn’t noisy at all. There was n allocated parking space which is a real bonus in Keswick. The flat was very clean & well equipped. The shower was hot & powerful and the kitchen had everything required. Our only issues was that we all found the beds uncomfortable. The mattresses were of good quality they just didn’t meet our preferences. I’m sure other people would find them perfect. Despite this minor issue we would definitely return to this fantastic property.

This was a lovely flat in the heart of a busy Keswick.

The road noise and buzz from the shops below didn’t bother us as we enjoyed seeing the world pass by but may not suit everyone. The flat was clean and good amenities. There is an issue with the toilet flush and sounds like an air lock in the system as at the end of the flush when the toilet has refilled it makes a terrible chugging noise. The flat has a handy car park space which is a massive bonus. The space is a little tight in between 2 thin metal poles but we managed no problem with a VW Golf. We had a fabulous week!

The flat is lovely, comfortable and equipped.

Would of liked a fan in bedrooms as it was very warm and having the window open ment being disturbed by the noise on the street which ended around 12pm with the clash of bottles being emptied, and started again around 5.30am so not a good night's sleep was had. The location is great. And is very clean, beds are comfortable, and so are the sofa's.

Lovely stay at Siskin.

The apartment was extremely clean which was great. So close to the centre yet quiet. It generally had everything you need for a stay although we would have appreciated a full size chopping board to prepare meals on, and a pizza cutter would have been handy as we ate in every night. All in all recommended!

Beautiful little spot, right in the centre of town, well equipped, lovely bedding and towels, perfect after a day on the hills, definitely be back

Siskin is the ideal place to stay for a holiday in Keswick.

It is in the perfect location - minutes walk from the high street and Derwent Water and with parking too! Well appointed and very comfortable.

A very spacious apartment which as light and airy.

Loved being right in the centre of the town yet quiet too. Wonderful to have allocated parking space.

A very nice property, well maintained and well presented.

We enjoyed its central location, comfortable beds, designer kitchenware, and a quiet washing machine. There was some noise from the George hotel kitchen extractor pipes located just outside the property windows. There was also some minor disturbance caused by ongoing maintenance/building work next door, but obviously this is not the owner's fault.

Apartment was very cosy and warm when we arrived and was immaculately clean.

We only stayed for a few nights so had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and fabulous location for ease of access to Keswick centre. The parking space was also a bonus.

A very nice and comfortable flat in the middle of town with the added bonus of a private parking space.

The only problem we encountered was the hot water. The boiler seems to be set to provide hot water in the morning only. Post-hike showers and baths in the evening were rather cold. This might not be a problem in summer. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

This is a lovely apartment has all the facilities you will need, and is perfectly placed for the town centre & the beautiful countryside around Keswick.

We have stayed at this apartment four times now and will be booking it again for are next visit to Keswick.

The apartment is perfectly situated for the town centre, but slightly tucked away so it’s fairly quiet.

Everything was good, so already hope to return next year.

With a few large vehicles (4 x4 cars etc) parking was very hard

Shame about the entrance and the front door needs painting.

But the apartment is lovely.Feels homely.

This property is more geared towards 2 adults 2 children & not 4 adults

This flat can be rather noisy especially when people are moving around in the other flats and also when there are deliveries to, and bottle collections from, The George Hotel.

The radiator in the main bedroom didn't seem to turn off which made it too hot early in a morning. But we've just booked to return again in March which will be our 3rd visit, so the positives outweigh the negatives!

The property was amazing, well supplied with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

The sofas and king size bed were really comfy and the rooms were warm. Overall five star accomodation.

My husband and I visited Siskin in 2019 and had a lovely stay.

We were delighted to return December 2021 and had a wonderful week. The flat is cosy, well appointed and perfectly positioned in central Keswick, with parking as a bonus. The sitting room, beds and bedding were very comfy and just what we needed after days out. We hope to return next year.

The directions for parking and access were not very easy to follow. However we asked at the office and the representative there was extremely helpful!

It was very warm and cosy. spacious, well equipped and the décor was lovely as well as comfortable. We felt very at home. For us the parking space is a real bonus as is being right in the heart of Keswick. We would definitely return and recommend Siskin. The staff in the Lakes office were very helpful.

The only negative was that the sound from the outside to the Main Bedroom was quite loud .

I didn't check if the room had double glazing but it didnt sound as if it had. Maybe an investment to consider .

the flat was really clean, spacious and in a good location with excellent security and a free car parking space.

However it was really noisy and there was a huge 'hole' in the wooden frame above the window in the master bedroom which made it more noise and 'drafty' - especially in January. There was also a huge vent pipe outside the double bedroom from the restaurant that was noisy too! A little disappointed especially the cost of the property - maybe should inform customers of the noise levels.

It would be helpful if on arrival guests were shown to their accommodations

I do feel a sense of obligation to refer these concerns to a higher authority. Perhaps you can provide some reassurances and explanations that would make that unnecessary.

Excellent location, very comfortable base, with loads of walks straight from the doorstep in beautiful scenery.

It can be a little noisy at night from passing nighttime revellers but overall this did not detract too much from the holiday at all. We would return to this flat.

One of the best rentals we have stayed in!

Location super, furniture and fittings of very good quality, very good lighting throughout, ( unusually in most lets and we stay in 4/5 a year)for anyone on a walking hol in this area ideal. Would recommend this let. Secure parking, ( tho next to commercial bins) this was not a problem.and entrance to property secure, ( 3 locked doors! ) Although on the second floor there are only two small flights of stairs, all in all an excellent property!

The apartment is ideally situated, well equipped, clean & tidy.

On departure we reported concerns with the plumbing as the toilet was very noisy, the bath taps tight and the shower rail a bit wobbly! We only got one set of keys (although when I asked on checking out, there was another set) which was a safety issue due to locks/access to the building. Not the prettiest entrance to a property (I wouldn't like to have been on my own on dark nights) and as long as you don't want a lie in (refuse trucks empty bins daily) it was a great apartment right in the centre of Keswick.

The accommodation was in a fantastic place for restaurants, shops and the surrounding attractions.

There is a cafe/pub opposite that was open til late and most nights people were very noisy and disturbed our sleep or relax time. The windows even closed did not keep the noise out. Maybe the windows need to be changed to eliminate any outside noises. The beds mattress and pillows were not what we are used to, my opinion is to have a firm mattress and pillows or a choice of soft or firm pillows.
