“Everything about the cottage was top quality,fixtures and fittings left nothing to be desired.”
Spotlessly clean , everything looked brand new.It was a nice walk down the hill to the town- bit of a hard slog back up which could be a problem for the less mobile. Only slight hitch was the water level in the boiler dropped too low, meaning there was no hot water . Just needed topping up by the valve, easy enough if you are familiar with boilers . Other than that all was first class and we enjoyed our visit . We definitely would return. Thank you .

Your observations are right, the cottage is brand new and so is the boiler. I understand that air can get trapped in a new system. Thank you for this feedback, I have informed the contractor who installed the system and they will start checking the pressure for me.

Jenever Cottage is a lovely three-storey property resting in the prestigious Falls area on the outskirts of Ambleside, Cumbria. Located in the heart of the Lake District National Park and with proximity to countless towns and villages for day trips this home is a wonderful choice to explore the tourist attractions of the Lakes. After a day of high-level fell walks, put your feet up in the first-floor sitting room, open up the balcony doors to let in the fresh breeze of the countryside, or take some drinks outside and enjoy the last of the evening sun surrounded by your loved ones. Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away.
