    “Lovely property.”

But could be so much better. The drive up to the property for the last two hundred yards is horrendous! The potholes have you literally down to three mph! First impressions when you arrive are like’wow what a lovely place’. And it is. Ample parking. Location is good. You are within walking distance of the village and racecourse. (If you’re fit enough). And within driving distance of most of the tourist attractions. The public footpath around the back of the property is a bit precarious. As I said, the initial view of the property is good. It’s not until you look closely, you realise how dirty it is. It really does need a complete clean down. When you remove the cushions from the couch they are full of dog hair. There are crumbs and bits of food between the cushions of the other couch. The bedrooms are big and the on suites look quite new. The showers are good with plenty of hot water. The extractor fans in the bathroom are absolutely clogged with fluff. And they seem to stay on for an age after you’ve finished in the bathroom. When you leave, you are asked to strip the beds. I’ve never stayed in a property where I’ve been asked to do this! After you’ve stripped the beds, you realise how stained the pillows, mattress covers and mattresses are. Not nice! All in all a nice modern property, but could be better. If I owned this place and I was employing a cleaning company to look after it, I’d be doing spot checks and having a word with them.
