    “Nice cosy apartment in an ideal location, close to shops, restaurants and lake windermere.”

    Only problem I had was the double bed, was hard, felt like sleeping on the floor. It needs a mattress topper to make it comfier. Otherwise everything else was great.

Eve's Attic is a delightful second-floor apartment sitting in the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, with everything that you need for a great stay on your doorstep.

As you make your way into the apartment you'll find two bedrooms; a cosy double room with view across the town and a lovely twin room with enough storage to store your belongings.

Make your way across the hallway to the newly appointed bathroom, the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring all that the Lake District has to offer.

The open plan living area offers a comfortable setting to de-stress, with cosy leather sofas infront of the TV, with the kitchen conveniently located close by.

Eve's Attic is the perfect base for those looking to explore Lake Windermere, and the surrounding Lake District, with plenty to do right outside the door.

Take a stroll around the bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere, with ample choice of shops, restaurants and cafes to chose from.

Or for the more adventurous, why not take one of the many walking or cycling trails for the day, or even hire out a boat on one of the many lakes in this beautiful area.

Eve's Attic is conveniently located for those wanting to experience the Lake District, and perfect for couples and families all year round.

Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk to enjoy the spectacular panorama of far-reaching views over the lake and surrounding fells. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There is also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake.
