    “The outside of the property need a lot of TLC Guttering leaking you get a shower when you go out of side gate.”

    No toaster, No clothes airer, light in bathroom reported but not fixed, shower in main bathroom leaking so badly you can not use. In En suite sink would not hold water plug not working. All reported not fixed. However view perfect.

    Dear Guests We were deeply concerned by your review, and have subsequently throughly investigated. We have raised your concerns directly with Sykes cottages, your booking agent. The Sykes team informed us that you did not want anyone to attend the property during your stay but wanted to report the issues. Sykes did not pass any issues over to us, so unfortunately we could not of done anything to rectify any issues. The guttering was due to blockage from debris, of which has been cleared. The bathroom shower hose has been fixed and a new shower hose has been installed. The shower now works perfectly. We have two showers in the property, and both have been serviced. The basin plug is a push button, we’ve tested it and we cannot find any issues with the plug. Maybe something went down the plug hole which stopped the plug mechanism working. You will be pleased to know, we have equipped the property with a new toaster. We didn’t consider a toaster to be a big issue, especially when we have a grill oven, however we have now provided one. As for the property appearance, the property is made of Cedar Wood, so it does weather and look weathers when it rains or during dry spells. Being one of the best property on the site, with the only lodge that has all day sunshine, amazing views just a few steps from the lake, we get a lot of visitors, and as such we employ a maintenance team to handle your issues 7 days per week. We wish we could of had the opportunity to resolve your issues. We are a bit perplexed at your overall score. This doesn’t match our property at all…. This magnificent single-story lodge, Loubi's Lakeside Lodge, is located in Bowness-on-Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District. The lodge, which welcomes four guests for a blissful family break, enjoys a desirable location within the Lake District National Park and is just a short distance from Lake Windermere. It also has a stylish interior, an elevated terrace area, and well-appointed bedrooms. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and dining area where your loved ones may cook and eat meals together before cuddling up on the plush sofas to watch all your favourite family programmes on the Smart TV. Open the bi-fold doors on warm evenings to show a stunning view of the lake. With outside furniture for enjoying a late-night beverage, it offers a peaceful place to unwind and explore the natural surroundings. Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away. Loubi's Lakeside Lodge is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot and highchair are provided for you. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.

Fallbarrrow Park management lock the entrance gates at midnight. If you are arriving after midnight, please call the night warden.

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
