“Extremely disappointed with the cottage, on arrival we had no heating or hot water, luckily that im a Gas Safe Engineer who was able to rectify the Fault F.”

75 on the central heating boiler. Also the condition of the garden was shocking, I cleared 7 bags of dog foul from the back garden which I did not expect to have to do considering we have a small child and a Dog of our own. This is unacceptable on arrival and I have pictures of the foul in the garden if you wish to see them. I would like some compensation for this unacceptable cleanliness

Thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear of the issues you experienced during your stay. It is regretful that you did not contact the property managers to report either issue which you have noted. With regard the heating and hot water, while unfortunate, we are sure you would understand that occasionally these things happen. If you had contacted our maintenance team this would have been promptly resolved. We certainly do not condone guests attempting to fix such faults, regardless of their experience. With regard the dog foul we were shocked and very disappointed to hear this. It is not an issue that we have ever encountered before. The responsibility for removal of dog foul rests with the owners of the dogs involved. It is not part of the regular clean carried out between guests. However we do apologise for this very unfortunate situation. We have now put in place signage reminding dog owners of their responsibilities in this regard. Property Owner
