“First impressions excellent, couldn’t be more central.”

Very clean and bright. Beds excellent. Settees very uncomfortable, almost feel that you are sitting on the floor, too low and small. Apartment warm when needed. Can be noisy first thing, ( street cleaning and deliveries) and Friday and Saturday evenings ,( pubs ), keep windows shut. Quite a few stairs. Loved Kendal.

“We had a lovely week’s stay at ‘Coniston’ in Kendal – it was clean, well-stocked, comfortable (especially the bed!”

) and conveniently located in the centre of Kendal within easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. The car park is located just behind the apartment (a 1-minute walk) and cost £41.80 for 7 days. We had a slight issue connecting to the Wi-Fi, but the owner was very quickly able to sort this out – thank you Jayne! We would highly recommend this property

“Coniston is a lovely property.”

The little touches made the holiday great with the tea and biscuits. Also having washing and dishwasher tablets available. It was a bit noisy at night but that’s to be expected as you are on the main road.

“Lovely spacious property in central Kendal.”

Very modern and beautifully presented. All fresh and clean. Only fault- no tea towels!! Otherwise perfect. Would recommend and hopefully we will return.

“A really well appointed and comfortable apartment right in the town centre with great first floor street views and large window seats from which to enjoy them.”

Everything you'll need in the town is right on hand and there's plenty of choice when it comes to pubs, restaurants and shops all within a minute or two of walking. A little further but no less convenient, there are several good local walks, none of which needed the car. Although there is no parking at the property, it was no problem to leave the car at a nearby carpark on a three day ticket for around £20.

. The apartment is very well equipped with all the little things that are sometimes missing - good kitchen knives, tea towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Myself and two friends had a great time at the property.”

the location is great with nearby parking in the town, and we where given very clear instructions on how to find and get into the property. it was clean and spacious for a very good price, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. communication with the owner was also very fast and helpful. overall can’t recommend enough and we had a great few days :)

“The property is lovely, very comfortable and excellently located.”

We had an issue with a broken dining chair on arrival but that was very quickly resolved directly with the owner, as was an issue with the towel rails. A great place to stay although some may have concerns with noise from youngsters leaving the two pubs opposite late at night. For us it wasn’t a problem.

“Absolutely beautiful apartment, very clean and well maintained.”

All the facilities you could ever need. In the town centre so lots to do, places to eat, shop etc, but please be aware that because of the location there can be street noise at night/early hours of the morning, although this may not be an issue for some.

“The property is fantastic and to such a high standard and would stay again if ever in Kendal.”

The owner responded to messages within minutes. The only point about parking is that the multi storey closes at 6.30 pm so you are stuck if wanting to go out and opens back up in the morning.

“Modern and functional apartment with plenty of space.”

Friendly and proactive approach from owner. We noticed the shower and hob were loose and informed the owner. We did find the high street location noisier than expected, with a road cleaner each morning at 5:30am, delivery vehicles and the clock tower ringing every 15 minutes from 7am. Otherwise perfect location for amenities and local walks.
