“The Hayloft was a great little bolt hole for a week in the South Lakes.”

We loved the lack of road noise and the lovely views from the back of the property. It was also brilliant to be able to do walks straight from the door. We did 2 longish (6-7 miles) circular ones, which afforded great views and shorter ones along the River Kent and through woods full of bluebells and wild garlic. The accommodation was very comfortable and the bathrooms were as good (if not better!) than any 5 star hotel. Tonia was around with help and advice when needed and left us some locally ...

Tonia was around with help and advice when needed and left us some locally brewed beer and delicious biscuits as a welcome gift. I would not hesitate to recommend The Hayloft for anyone wanting a peaceful base from which to explore the South Lakes.
