“I enjoyed my stay in the Lodge.”

I was a little annoyed that I was not prior warned of a new Lodge being erected next to the one I was staying in. the construction workers started at 8/30am which I would not have minded if being on my own but I had my 18month old granddaughter with me. Plus I and my guests had to move our cars due to the trucks and patio constructors. I would suggest some hooks on the back of doors to hang dressing gowns or light jackets. The Lodge was of a good standard and I would consider staying again , ...

The Lodge was of a good standard and I would consider staying again , but possibly check on a different area of the Park with a lodge with more open area around it.

This charming three-bedroom holiday home, 2 Keswick Court, is located at White Cross Bay on the outskirts of the small, rural community of Troutbeck Bridge, Cumbria.

This quaint lodge has everything you and the family need for a relaxed break in the Lake District National Park, including a variety of on-site amenities, fantastic placement to neighbouring attractions, and gorgeous natural scenery.

Make the most of the tastefully-decorated, open-plan living room, including a well-equipped kitchen where the designated chef can cook up a storm, as well as a dining/sitting area where a sleek electric fireplace and wall-mounted Smart TV take centre stage.

As evening descends, sip a hot beverage on the decking area's furniture to take in the tranquil views of the starry night sky, before retiring to one of the lodge's three sumptuous bedrooms, one of which has a plush double bed and an en suite shower room.

Make the most of the clubhouse and store on-site, where you can stock up on the necessities to whip up delectable meals.

If you can drag yourself away from your gorgeous dwelling, visit The Gaddum in nearby Ecclerigg if you want to take an evening off from cooking, or go to Troutbeck Bridge for a pub meal at The Sun Inn.

During a brief drive into Windermere, a lakeside town with family-friendly activities like the Windermere Jetty Museum and The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, be sure to also stop by the picturesque Orrest Head Viewpoint to capture beautiful lake views.

Slightly further afield in Ambleside are the magnificent Stagshaw Gardens with their lovely woodland pathways, the ancient remnants of Ambleside Roman Fort, and the beautiful Stock Ghyll Force waterfall.

The small village of Troutbeck Bridge lies between the famous towns of Windermere and Ambleside, close to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, within the Lake District National Park. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay. This property accepts one well-behaved dog, two on request.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
