“We (myself, daughter and two dogs) have just returned from a four night stay at Paul and Sues place having booked only the week before.”
On arrival the lamp had been left on, fire prepared ready to light and the radio on. It felt just like coming home. I did arrive as a vegan and lapsed for the day after entering the kitchen and finding the homebakes, which we’re looking at me!! Very nice indeed, as was the rest of the welcome package. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook a meal. I was happy to discover a bright torch in one of the cupboards as I had left mine back at home, it came in handy for walking the dogs in the evening. Upstairs the bathroom is spacious, with a lovely walk in shower, fluffy towels. There are two bedrooms a double at the back and single at the front, both had extremely comfortable beds, pillows and quilts and the added bonus of electric blankets. Both furnished to a high standard. Throughout the home, there are little added no expense spared items like the reed diffusers in the lounge, kitchen and bathroom. They smell so nice. And the pictures in the wall, more than once i got up off the cosy couch to inspect the detail in them. I would absolutely love to return to this cottage, likely one summer as the weather was unkind on this visit, it didn’t stop us doing what we wanted though. The cottage is well placed for Ingleton falls and the Lake District area, we have had a proper look around including flashbacks to my childhood from when my grandparents had a caravan at Levens. 5 star accommodation, Paul and Sue, you have got it just right!
Thank you so much Michelle for taking the time to complete a very comprehensive feedback, which is lovely to read. We are so pleased that you both enjoyed your stay at Moor Cottage and found everything you needed and were warm and comfortable to relax. Despite unkind weather, you were able to visit the beautiful scenery nearby at Ingleton and the Lakes. Hopefully, we can welcome you all again in the future to enjoy better weather.
With very best wishes
Sue and Paul
