“The property is in an excellent location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

The beds were comfortable, the showers excellent, the quality of the bedding annd towels excellent and it was definitely worth the money. Some minor things to note and the reason for 4 stars: There were some areas not cleaned very well, cobwebs on ceilings, dust on skirting boards etc. The lounge is not set up comfortably for 5 adults, we always found one person sitting on the floor and the chairs, although lovely, are uncomfortable. Some throws in the lounge for covering up when it drops ...

Some throws in the lounge for covering up when it drops cold would be nice, especially as the fire doesn’t work. The parking around the back was very tight, especially as there was a taxi parked out the back for the whole stay, which made it a challenge to manoeuvre, although as there were 2 cars, the permit was a godsend. Access to a vacuum cleaner would have been brilliant so that we could have kept on top of cleaning the cream carpets everywhere. But all in all, we had a lovely time…
