    Loved the added touches such as the quirky ornaments and paintings. The location was fantastic too with back door access on to the beach.

Woodbine Cottage is a delightful, end-of-terrace property resting in the seaside village of Allonby. With off-road parking and close by attractions and amenities, this property is ideal for a small family or couple looking to explore the Cumbrian Solway Coast. Be welcomed into a contemporary kitchen with stylish, grey cupboards, hosting a selection of amenities to cater to your culinary needs. Enjoy a hearty meal at the table in the living/dining room, a bright space to relax after a long day of exploring the local area. Here there is also a sitting area with a glowing electric fire and TV, ideal for movie marathons. There are two bedrooms to choose from, both well-presented and welcoming, including a double and a single, and a charming bathroom with lovely décor where you can enjoy a soak in the tub or a refreshing shower. Outside there are public grassy areas with views over the countryside, as well as off-road parking. Allonby is a lovely seaside village resting in Cumbria, offering a local beach, village shop, and selection of pubs and eateries. Options include The Ship Hotel (a late 18th century building which once hosted Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins), The Baywatch Hotel and two lovely cafes. There are more options at Maryport to the south, featuring a museum, marina, and Silloth on Solway to the north both have excellent golf courses. Hadrian’s Cycleway runs directly behind the property used for both cycling and walking and in the evenings, it is a perfect spot for viewing the spectacular sunsets for which the village is renowned. The property is on the Solway Coast AONB throughout which there are many lovely walks and bird-watching opportunities. It is also well positioned for exploring the Lake District National Park, here you will find many incredible walks, as well as watersports facilities, quaint villages to visit, and historic sites.
