    “Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage especially the comfy beds.”

    If there was any comment about the cottage it would be that i think there should be a small handrail at the bottom of the stairs and a mat in the bath speaking for myself that is as we are in our seventies. there is everything in the cottage you may need,

Woodbine Cottage is a charming beachfront property over 200 years old, located in the historic fishing village of Allonby, Cumbria, nestled between the coastal towns of Maryport and Silloth-on-Solway.

This end-of-terrace home is adjacent to the former Quaker Reading House, now a private residence, and directly across from the Village Hall, which hosts various events throughout the year.

The highlight is the direct access to the stunning Solway beach right from the back door, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can spend your days beachcombing, birdwatching, or simply unwinding and soaking in the beauty of the Solway Firth and the Scottish hills in the distance.

Along the coast runs the King Charles III England Coast Path, perfect for walking or cycling while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

This coastline is renowned for its stunning sunsets, which are a must-see!

You can also catch these views from the windows of the charming cottage while relaxing inside.

Allonby has been designated as an AONB, and the local office in Silloth, known as Solway Coast National Landscape, can provide valuable information about the many trails and sights in the area.

The village shop is particularly well-known for its delightful homemade ice cream.
