As a result, I feel that the property does not deserve the 4 tick rating and at least a new kettle should be urgently provided. Ideally thought the whole kitchen (including cutting boards, plates, mugs, etc) could do with an update.
I am extremely sorry that you felt that Little Hallgarth did not meet your expectations, but I just wanted to let you know that, in fact, I had already ordered new crockery, glassware and chopping boards for the kitchen and am currently awaiting delivery. I am also aware that it is time to update the kitchen and am in discussions with a kitchen designer with a view to doing renewal works in January 2022. Similarly, I had also, already, arranged for installation of a power shower, as this has come up previously in other peoples reviews.
I am sorry that you felt that you had been disappointed and I hope that your future holidays in the Lake District, wherever they may be, will be more successful.
