Step through to the bedrooms to catch your rest, the master dominated by a king-size bed whilst there’s a pretty twin for the children. Awaken from a deep slumber with a rinse in the shower room or taking advantage of the other bathroom, before stepping out to the decking and enjoying a coffee. Give the chef a break from cooking and head out to the local pubs for some grub; Great Broughton is nearby and home to the Brewery House and Punch Bowl Inn Pub. Great Broughton is a quaint village resting in the Cumbrian Borough of Allerdale and the civil parish of Broughton. Home to a Post Office with village store, three pubs and a Royal British Legion branch, it has all you need and more for a self-catered stay near the Lake District. Sitting amongst the River Derwent, there are plenty of scenic walking routes within the local area, with both coastal footpaths and rich terrains available all around.
