    “Howe Keld 4 is a delightful property and we were very happy with the week we spent there.”

    As well as being centrally located it has been very tastefully and carefully decorated and equipped, and we had everything we needed. It was hard to believe that it has been in use for several years: it is in first-class decorative order, and spotlessly clean, and gave the impression of having only very recently been done up. That each couple had our own ensuite bath and/or shower meant that we could both enjoy one another's company on the top floor, where the kitchen area and sitting room are ...

    As well as being centrally located it has been very tastefully and carefully decorated and equipped, and we had everything we needed. It was hard to believe that it has been in use for several years: it is in first-class decorative order, and spotlessly clean, and gave the impression of having only very recently been done up. That each couple had our own ensuite bath and/or shower meant that we could both enjoy one another's company on the top floor, where the kitchen area and sitting room are located, and also retire privately to our own room when we wanted to. We'd love to come back, but sadly the week we would like to book in 2027 has already been taken: which is not really surprising!

This immaculate duplex apartment of Howe Keld 4 is located inside the Lake District National Park in the picturesque town of Keswick, Cumbria.

Howe Keld 4 is a wonderful base for a family of four to explore the famed Park, being moments away from Derwentwater and several walking trails.

Parking is included in the adjacent car park with permit provided for one car.

Inside your new home, you'll discover a second-floor open-plan living area with everything you'll need for a self-catering trip right at your fingertips. Relax in the sitting room, where you can catch up on your favourite show on the Smart TV while the toasty electric fire envelopes you in warmth.

When you're hungry, head to the beautifully appointed kitchen, where navy units conceal an assortment of integrated equipment sure to please any aspiring cook.You can relish a gastronomic treat created here at the dining table, all the while marvelling at those spectacular views of the fells.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
