“This property could be amazing.”
Itâs in an ideal central location. Itâs on a noisy busy road, but we knew that when we booked. What we didnât expect was how dirty, smelly and unkempt the property was. Itâs very neglected. There is mould and damp in the upstairs bedrooms and shower rooms. So much so in bedroom 3, we were unable to use it. The smell was so strong. We had what we were told are carpet beetles in bedroom 2 upstairs. The whole place needs cleaned and painted. On the info it says parking for 3 cars. However ...
Itâs in an ideal central location. Itâs on a noisy busy road, but we knew that when we booked. What we didnât expect was how dirty, smelly and unkempt the property was. Itâs very neglected. There is mould and damp in the upstairs bedrooms and shower rooms. So much so in bedroom 3, we were unable to use it. The smell was so strong. We had what we were told are carpet beetles in bedroom 2 upstairs. The whole place needs cleaned and painted. On the info it says parking for 3 cars. However when we arrived, one of the spaces was taken. We were told by neighbours it was the owners car. Meaning we had to park in a pay carpark about an 8 minute walk away (not ideal) not what we were sold. The car wasnât moved until day 4 of our 7 night stay. The hot tub area was a joke. It was at the front door with a fence around it. No space out there at all. Plus being in the front, it was busy with all of the other businesses on the same area of concrete. So didnât feel private or appropriate. It was advertised as having a bathroom downstairs. It was actually a further shower rooms. I could go on. This is the first negative review Iâve ever posted, but apart from the location there are very few positives.
