Ideal for dog owners as no carpeting to worry about. Comfortable sofa's and lovely evenings with the log burner lit. Kitchen had everything that you need - even a slow cooker tucked away at the back of a cupboard. Lots of crockery and cutlery so you don't just have 4 of everything. Bed was really comfortable and shower pressure good. No issues with hot water or heating at all. The only (very small) negative was that the welcome pack is very basic and no personal touch - some sachets of milk and biscuit packs with 2 in a pack. There are cleaning items, salt and pepper plus tea, coffee and sugar there as well. However, we had got a supermarket delivery booked so we had everything we needed. Beautiful views and only a five minute drive from Keswick one way and Bassenthwaite Train station cafe the other.
