“The Flowing River is a very well appointed apartment.”
The kitchen equipment was spot on and a nice large upright Fridge/Freezer was a bonus. Only problem there was the extraction fan. It ran but was completely ineffective and as soon as any cooking was started the fire alarms activated-even toast!
In the Lounge, the large screen TV was excellent, as was the very reliable wifi.
Bedroom was extremely tight for a double bed with a very tight squeeze to get around it. But bed itself was very comfortable indeed.

Bathroom was also pretty good with shower-over-bath. Main problem here was again the fan. It NEVER ran.
We had a major problem with the heating system. On arrival the lounge was 26.5degC and the bedroom almost as hot. The radiators were immediately switched off and windows opened the make it bearable. Once cooled, and the control system instructions were followed, the stat settings were adjusted but the lounge radiator never worked again for 6 days, so had to jack up the hallway heater and leave door open to get temp above 14degC.
There was no refuse bin allocated to our apartment and there are no recycling bins. We had to take bottles, cans etc to Kendal!
Two very kind Maintenance men came the day before we left, but not much they could do. They did find a bin and numbered it for us though (but still no recycling bin). They already knew the fans didn't work-said they'd been like that for ages! I fixed the heating problem myself on day 6 by removing and rebooting the main control panel after some google research!
