“New, clean and bright house, dog friendly as well.”

Very quite area perfect for a peaceful holiday. We were very lucky to be there when Cartmel show took place . The dogs enjoyed the walks around the beach as well. There was everything we needed for our break, apart of hand soap that was only a tiny bit on the bottom of the bottle which is ok but when you are not familiar with the area can be a problem to find a shop at the weekend. There was everything we needed for our break, apart of hand soap that was only a tiny bit on the bottom of the bottle which is ok but when you are not familiar with the area can be a problem to find a shop at the weekend. No steam mop or simple mop to keep the floor clean which is sad as I could see the floor is already stained and it is a new build house. Otherwise the house is lovely and we had no trouble at all. I believe the owners are doing their best to sort out the road leading to the house.

Thank you for your lovely review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the house, the peaceful location and the nearby beach walks with your dogs – and what great timing to be there for the Cartmel Show! We are sorry about the hand soap and mop, as both should have been available at the property. We will make sure this is followed up with our housekeeping team. Thank you also for your understanding regarding the access road. We are currently in conversations with the relevant parties to try to get the road improved and the issues addressed. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Paul & the Edgemere Team Property Owner
