    “Edgemere Hideaway was exactly as described.”

    Purpose built holiday accommodation. Spacious, bright and clean. Lovely quiet location and quite private, even with other cottages either side of it. On the negative side, minor things but worth knowing. No welcome pack so take everything you need. We arrived on a Friday evening and had problems with the "smart" tv. We couldn't get in touch with anyone. The contact number for the owner went straight to a business which was closed for the weekend. Spoke to Sykes via WhatsApp chat but got ...

Spoke to Sykes via WhatsApp chat but got no response from them until Sunday. If it had been anything serious we would have had a problem. As it was, it was only the tv. Would definitely stay again though, despite the minor issues. Cartmel village nearby is definitely worth a visit.
