“Booked last min for couples, for a 50th birthday celebration.”

A few days before we were due to arrive I reviewed our booking to ask some questions on what equipment was in the kitchen and it was the first time I saw some negative reviews - which did concern me. A few days before we were due to arrive I reviewed our booking to ask some questions on what equipment was in the kitchen and it was the first time I saw some negative reviews - which did concern me. However, we found no issues with the property and it was perfect for this occasion. Its a bit dated but that just added to the charm of the house. Great location, even if its up hill on the way home. All the rooms were big and there was enough utensils in the kitchen. The fridge is only a standard size, so people need to be aware if they are a large group and going for more than a couple of days. We bought an electric cool box with us which helped with 7 adults (kept the fizz cold). The showers were lovely and powerful as well. Would suggest using the boot room to come and go as the front door was hard to open. The only complaints would be that the twin room that can be converted to a king was not make up in advance, even though we had requested this and it was also noted on our booking, but someone did come the following morning to do this, so it was no big deal. Bring toilet roll as there was only 1 roll in each toilet so we did have to buy a pack which we did not expect to do - but that was it - all in all it was a great house and we would come again (just wish we could bring the dog - but its no pets).

Many thanks for your positive comments and suggestions. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Since your comments, we have added a second fridge and topped up the kitchen utensils. Regarding storing boots/waterproofs, there are 2 options - the entrance lobby has space and coat hooks, while there is also lots of space in the utility room. Sorry the king-size/twin link bed wasnt made right for your arrival. Thanks again! Property Owner
