Not only were the western fells and lakes on the doorstep, but also the beautiful Drigg beach just down the road. The tides were kind to us for a few days of cool morning, and evening, dog walks on the vast expanse of exposed sand.
Thanks for your kind words Will. We're glad you enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the gardens and had such a wonderful holiday at the cottage, discovering the delights of the Western Lakes. We hope to see you and your family again!
