“Great house, the 2nd time we’ve stayed there - only this time with our children (4 and 7 yrs) so a slightly different set of needs.”

The garden/outdoor space was superb being large and totally enclosed. The house had everything we needed, apart from (due to the great weather last week) a barbecue! Two pieces of feedback would be that (even in the hot weather we had) the lounge was quite cold in the evenings so we needed to light a fire. Not a lot that can be done about that though, I guess that’s why there’s a fire place(!). But in light of not wanting to put the whole house heating on perhaps an electric heater of some ...

But in light of not wanting to put the whole house heating on perhaps an electric heater of some description could be provided to save the mess and pollution of a fire? Secondly we all found the beds too firm. I realise the irony that recent feedback for the property stated they were too soft and that new mattresses had been purchased…….can’t please everyone I guess! Maybe a topper on each bed would help satisfy the masses? That’s the only two slight issues I can think of, other than that no problems at all - we would all stay there again in a flash. The location is also great, we ate at all the pubs within a 5 miles radius over the week and did several walks from the property. We found the maps provided for this very useful, particularly as we managed to leave ours at home!
