    “The apartment is situated right in the heart of Kendal, ideal if you just want to park your car and forget about it for the duration of your stay.”

    The apartment is beautiful, a mix of modern and old. It is light, spacious, clean and freshly decorated. The bedroom in the roof space is an amazing feature, a real ‘wow’ moment when you walk in. There are a few disappointments. One, the alleyway down to the main entrance of the apartments is dirty and crowded with wheelie bins that stink. The stairs upto the apartment are also in need of a thorough clean and there is a stuffy smell of damp close to the entrance door. Parking is ...

Parking is difficult, so I would recommend you pre-book a space via ‘Just Park’. Despite a few disappointing features I would definitely stay at 3 Old Pharmacy Court again and would highly recommend it. It really is a beautiful apartment.

    Thank you Andrew for your feedback. We are in contact with the building property management team to address the communal stairwell area issues (we clearly do not own or control that) I believe there is a painting refresh due soon and this will no doubt cover the small damp area on the lower ground door. Re the public access alleyway and the bin area these are points we have raised with the local council a few times and again we will push them to attempt to keep these areas cleaner. We are glad these points didn't detract you from wanting to return and hope to see you again in the future., many thanks Mike & Alex Property Owner

The property

This fantastic second and third-floor duplex flat is located in the centre of Kendal in Cumbria's South Lake District.

3 Old Pharmacy Court is a superbly finished sanctuary with contemporary décor, excellent for families looking for a place to call home for a while.

With an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, the open-plan living space is well-suited to your needs.

At the dining table, enjoy a home-cooked meal before relaxing on the sofa and watching Smart TV.

The third-floor features an attractive king-size bedroom with exposed beams and boutique furniture, as well as a dazzling bathroom with a choice of bath or shower.

The second bedroom is on the second level and has twin beds, which are great for children.

Kendal high street is reached by a little passageway from the front door and offers a wonderful selection of cafes and pubs serving excellent cuisine and ale, as well as a variety of independent shops where you can find a gift to take home.

There are also lots other attractions to tick off, such as Kendal Castle, Sizergh Castle, Levers Hall, the Brewery Arts centre, and the Kendal Museum, so you may explore somewhere new every day!

Take cruises across Lake Windermere, learn about Beatrix Potter's upbringing at Hill Top House, and witness marine life at the Lakes Aquarium while strolling the limitless miles of walking pathways in the Lake District.
